HDS FOODS (Referred to as ‘the website’) aims to give you a superb home shopping service. The website is provided to you free of charge for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy and Cookies Policy.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time and will announce such changes via a suitable announcement on the website. The changes will apply to the use of the HDS Foods services and website immediately.

  • To place an order on our website you must be over 18 years of age, require delivery in our delivery area and have a credit or debit card acceptable to us in your name.
  • You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
  • First you register yourself and create a username and password which you must use whenever you shop with us.
  • You should inform us any changes to informations you provided us at the time of registration so we can update
  • Please keep these in a safe place as you will be responsible for all activities and orders made under your password and username. If you think that someone else may either know or be using your username and password, please contact us immediately.
  • We reserve the right to decline a new customer registration or suspend your account at any time and at our sole discretion.

 

Confirmation

Once you have placed an order on the website we will send you an order acknowledgement via email, to the address provided by you during checkout or when you registered your account.

Price & Payments

As prices may change on a daily basis, and the website is updated overnight, prices are therefore a guide only. There may be variations by the time we are due to deliver. When you shop online you will pay the same price. There is a minimum order value, this is displayed on the delivery section of website.

We will debit the price, plus any delivery charges from your debit or credit card prior to delivery. All prices quoted are inclusive of any value added or other tax. We have chosen SagePay for our online payment services.

Cancellation & Changing of orders

You can cancel or amend your order at any time. Due to how our systems work, if you want to add goods to your order and keep the same delivery date you need to let us know before 10pm on the day before your order is due to be delivered . If you want to remove goods from your order or cancel it altogether, it is preferable if you let us know before 5pm on the day before your order is due to be delivered.

Refunds & Returns

If, on delivery , the quality of any of your shopping is not to our usual high standards, we will happily refund the money. You must let us know as soon as possible .You can tell our driver when he makes the delivery . And at the latest within 2 working days after we delivered the goods you can text ,email , phone us, all our contact details are available in our contact us section. If you agree we will replace the product and deliver to you agian subjet to next available delivery date and time agreed by you and hds. Or refund to your satisfaction.

You are responsible for the goods after recieving deleviry and signing the delivery note. You must store the goods in the manner appropriate to the type of goods (e.G. Keep chilled items chilled, frozen item frozen etc.) as we may require them to be returned and they must be returned to us in the same condition as they were delivered to you.

Your right to return an item does not apply to certain goods unless these goods are faulty on delivery.

Perishable Items;

  • Recipe books, magazines
  • Fresh Foods (meat, chicken, fish, fruit & vegetables)

 

Any item which cannot be resold for health and hygiene reasons once unwrapped. For example medicines, health & beauty products and certain baby products etc.

If you return goods or cancel your order under and we have already debited your card, we will reimburse any sum received from you in respect of such goods by crediting the same card you paid with.

We do our best to ensure the availability of products. But for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item. We will attempt to deliver substitute brand with similar price or even with higher value brand but we wouldn’t charge you extra. We also reserve the right to substitute it with smaller pack sizes, making up the required quantity, or another brand of similar quality. If the unavailable item(s) represent a major part of your order we can contact you via text, email or in some cases phone you. Other wise we will refund the amount you paid for the item(s) by crediting the same card you paid with.
