20kg – Badshah Basmati Rice is sown and carefully nurtured in the ‘rice bowl’ region of the Punjab, at the foothills of the Himalayas. The excellence of this unique rice comes from the unrivalled climate of the region, perfect for nourishing the exquisite long grains, creating a fluffiness and aroma when cooked which knows no equal.
In the Microwave: Place rice in a large microwaveable container of cold water. Add salt if desired. Cover, vent and cook on full power for 8-10 minutes (800W). Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Drain, fluff through with a fork and serve immediately. Microwave ovens vary, adjust cooking times accordingly. Allow 60g (2oz) of rice per person.
